We will spend our day in the Aragatsotn province, where we will visit the 13th-century monastery Saghmosavank, situated right on the edge of Kasakh Canyon. Before reaching Amberd fortress, we will make a stop at the Alphabet Park, where you can see statues of Armenian scripts. This park was established in 2005 to commemorate the 1600th anniversary of Armenian scripts. Amberd fortress stands as a remnant of the medieval summer residence of Armenian kings and knights, located at an altitude of 2600 meters.
