Tatev Monastery & South Armenia

Tatev is one of the most famous monasteries in Armenia. By the end of the 8th century, numerous Holy Relics were brought here and preserved for many years.

During the trip, we will explore all the key monuments of central and southern Armenia, including Noravank monastery, Areni (the archaeological site of the world’s oldest winery), Karahunj (the oldest Stonehenge in the world), Khor Virap, the caves of Khdzoresk village and the impressive swinging bridge. We’ll reach the Tatev Monastery complex via the longest aerial tram in the world, spanning almost 6 km. In the gorge of the Tatev Monastery, you’ll see the Devils Bridge, which is a nature made bridge.

• Day 2: Goris – Khndzoresk – Tatev Monastery – Shaki waterfalls – Yerevan
