Meeting Location & Tour Duration
One of the most visited monuments in Armenia
Our first destination on this day will be the Arch of Charents, offering a fantastic view of Mount Ararat. From this vantage point, we can admire the majestic beauty of the legendary mountain and take some photos. Following our visit to the Arch of Charents, we will journey to the Monastery of Geghard, meaning “spear.” Situated in the Kotayk province, this monastery is a remarkable architectural masterpiece, partially carved into the adjacent mountain and surrounded by cliffs. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Monastery of Geghard invites visitors to explore its rich history and spiritual significance. Our tour continues with a visit to Garni, the only Hellenic temple within the former Soviet Union territory, dating back to the 1st century BC. As a symbol of ancient Greek culture and heritage, the Garni temple stands as a testament to Armenia’s diverse historical influences. Concluding our tour, we visit the Symphony of Stones, where towering basalt columns create a natural wonderland sculpted by centuries of natural forces. Located in the Garni Gorge, this geological masterpiece provides a surreal landscape for exploration and photography, inviting guests to immerse themselves in Armenia’s natural beauty.
